September 10, 2009 - China News - OSRAM Opto Semiconductors solemnly launched OSLON MX ECE, to further expand its presence LED automotive lighting product line, applications ranging from automotive taillights, brake lights and daytime running lights. This low-cost, high-power ceramic components is designed for mid-market car headlights, mainly for daytime running lights. This new LED which is an important supplement for the entire area of Osram automotive lighting product line.
OSLON MX ECE is a high-power ceramic components, positioned between Advanced Power TopLED, and the Golden DRAGON LED. Have filled the market gap both in performance and price. This new energy-saving LED, is the Osram initiatives in response to the increasingly popular daytime running lights market outside of the luxury and high-end car market. OSLON MX ECE with area of only 3 × 3 mm2, it is 1W components manufactured by using the latest chip technology, light output ranging from 70 lm to 95 lm, and it’s operating temperatures available up to 150 ° C. Manufacturers who need 0.5 W solutions can use OSLON SX ECE. The size and thermal stability of SX version is the same with the MX version, while the light output range between 40 lm to 60 lm. Due to small size, these two LEDs can be integrated into small-size and slim design.
